Your son struggles with it for a second or two then finally clocks it with a right cross, and in retaliation is bitten by it on the right shoulder. You hear the crunch of a bone. This wakes the boy up and he realizes that it is real and not a dream. Even for his age, he reacts quickly and strikes with his left fist, again on the jaw as he twists his body and manages to knock it off of himself....
Your son then scrambles away from it is disbelief, cradling his wounded arm to his body. Obviously in pain, but has not screamed out...

It lands on its feet touching the floor as GOD re-asserts HIS reality and expels the creature from the Sanctum.


The Alarms sound and General Quarters is now Active.

{INTRUDER ALERT, INTRUDER ALERT!!!.......EXPULSION SUCCESSFUL. CYGHBER IN PURSUIT.ALL PERSONNEL SEARCH BASE}

*as I appear in the chambers with weapon drawn, I scan the room and move to the boy. Realizing no danger, I immediately tend to his wound, passing the firearm to Angel. (It is the X-5 Predator, and set for 3 round burst)
"It is loaded with Ammunition for Wraiths/spirits.", I tell her. "It wont harm living tissue"

Coffee, the wound is deep and obviously painful.
The shoulder blade is punctured and fractured, it is obvious to you that you need to immobilize the arm and shoulder joint to heal it properly. The best medical care should be done in your Medical Bay.

"GOD!, prepare immediate medical transport to med bay 1.
Transport for 2 and 1 child." *administering Pain meds to calm the boy.*

*I enter Med bay and look around, seeing my son on the med table, seriously wounded, I exit with a growl and proceed to track this...thing. It will not escape again.

*I shift to wolf, for tracking, this form has the best nose. And then head to the exit.

I stay with Coffee & my son. I stand close to my son's head. Stroking his hair I murmur, "It'll be alright son. Mommy's here & I won't let that thing hurt you again, ok? Just relax, Mommy's here. Coffee's here & she'll help you. You're Daddy is hunting the thing right now."

"God, please call in our top rank Theurge". I think we have a budding theurge here."

"Kurt, the think is a spirit. If you walk the Umbra this night then I ask that you take someone with you. I think our son will change early. He struck it twice & affected it".

*I get straight to work on the arm, I ask no questions as I can detect all I need to know with magik. Placing the arm where it "should" be, I heal magikally all the cracks and fractures, and damaged tissue, I then focus on clean up.

"I detected no contamination in the wound, It does not mean it is not there, just that I did not detect it, Angel."

"I recomend immediate movement with Poet."

"I detect nothing on this plane. I will jump to Umbra now, struck it twice huh? Thats my boy.."

"The Theurge is with me now, and we are going."

"Agreed Coffee but I am going with him. Poet is too busy to watch him & this thing has already proven that it can get past Sanctum wards."

"Poet, I'm sorry to interrupt you but my son has been attacked tonight by that thing we spoke of. I request that you move him in tonight. I would like to come along as well. No offense but it got past the Sanctum wards here & I know with your work load the possibility is there that it may come through yours as well."

"Coffee, Can you watch my son for just a few minutes while I gather some cloths & gear?" Hand the predator back to her & head for the door.

Your son says, "No mommy!, I want to stay with you and with daddy. Plllleeeeeeeaaaaaasssssseee.

While you are packing up, Kurt comes back and informs you that he was unable to find it, even with the Theurge's help.

But the Theurge inform him of an....oddity in the Umbra. Something that should not be there. He said that he is not able to pinpoint at this time, but will continue investigation and inform you of his findings.

"You didn't leave the Theurge in the Umbra alone did you? You & I both know that an oddity can mean danger? Please make sure there is someone with the Theurge if you won't be."

"Poet, can you detect spirits at all? If not how exactly can you protect my son?"

NO, he has returned with me. He plans to take a team with him to investigate, I have already cleared it...for tonight ONLY. We cannot spare the team for anything further.

I will not lie to you Angel, My skills in the sphere of Spirit are...low, however I do have Faith to fall back on. And that has never failed me before...

"Just my gear & cloths f/James & I. We're waiting on a Theurge to check over James & I may need to bring Thunder's son as well. Is a third person possible?"

"Kurt, what do you think? Do you want to move James until we get this resolved? If he is moved then I go with him."
